The police cars from the District Court and District Prosecutor will normally send inmates to the prison in the middle of the night.

The body search will be carried out after the paper work has been completed. Even on a cold day, an inmate has to strip off completely.

Subsequently, he will be given a jacket and a pair of pants, usually too big, whereby the inmate has to roll up the sleeves and pants and walk bare feet on the cold floor to the cell. If he is lucky, he will get a pair of blue-white colour slippers.

The clothing given are usually old dirty clothes that have been worn by many inmates. The inmate will normally be given a blanket but no pillow. It is a normal scene when the inmate walks into the cell and causes a stir, as the clothes and the blanket stink.

地院地檢的警備車常在半夜送來收容人，在新收資料做完成後就是檢身了，為避免違禁物品流入監所，即使是這樣寒冷的日子，一樣要脫光檢查，完成後再發一套公家的外套和褲子，經常是衣服太大，收容人得將袖管褲管全捲上，然後赤著腳踩在冰冷的地上走進房，幸運一點的或許剛好公家的藍白拖可以穿，公家的意思就是不知幾個人穿過髒到不行的舊貨，進房就給一條毛毯和被子沒有枕頭，房裡其他人一陣騷動是常有的事，因為衣褲毯被又霉又臭！
