The newbie is under rehabilitation penalty. I usher him to have his urine examined. He claims he’s empty because he just took a shower.
“It’s okay. Finish this 1000 c.c. bottle of water. Take your time. When you feel the urge, you go.” I know he will gulp down the water in order to return to his ward and finish the task for us.
He gobbles down every three to five minutes and goes to the loo a few times. All right! He passes the mark! He looks relieved, scratching his arm and a colored scab falls from his nail.
“New tattoo?” I ask.
“Yes.” Now he’s really into scratching.
“Hey, young man. Do not come in again or your right arm will take a long, long time.”
帶新收勒戒處份人去驗尿，他告訴我剛剛洗澡時才撒了泡尿，現在尿不出來。
我：「沒差啦！這1000cc的礦泉水給你，你慢慢喝，有感覺再去上。」
想也知道，怎麼可能慢慢喝，他們也想早些回房，又不想為難我們⋯⋯
三五分鐘就一口水，不時就去尿看看，萬幸！達標了！ 他鬆了口氣直往臂上抓去，那染了新色的痂皮，順著他指爪落了下來⋯⋯
「新刺的？」我問。
「嗯⋯」他抓得忘我。
「嘿！年輕人！不要再來了，不然你的右手要刺很久才能完成！」
