Four Boxes and Seven Bags
2013.11.29 Fountain Pen Drawing
The number of personal items he carried with him is by far the most I
have seen in my 14 years working in prison. he gathered more and more items
each time he was transferred—a total of four boxes and seven bags.
Every box was decorated with the Japanese and Nazi army emblem while
their contents, including hundreds of legal documents piled up to reach half
a person’s hight. He also wrote his victims’ names on large objects he
believed to be of importance.
Naturally, he was unable to fit all of his belongings in his cell and
the storeroom. However, he refused to dispose of anything for if he finds
something missing or if we encourage him to throw away some of his
belongings, he would sue us.
My colleague, Brother Yu, who just takes over the responsibility of
the storeroom may have a headache.
