The convicted Indonesian has just finished the visitation by the lawyer and interpreter. With the help of my colleague in the office who happens to be in possession of a compass, I identify the westward orientation of the prison before he is taken down. These convicts associated with the Te-Hung-Hsing case have been detained for eight full months. They’re allowed to pray to Mecca after jumping all the hoops! But six of them cannot be in the same cell, nor can they talk to one another to prevent witness tampering. The other five may not know which direction Mecca is. The support for their religion don’t come easy. Insha’Allah! Allah bless.
律師與通譯結束了接見，在被告被帶走前幫他詢問了監獄哪邊是西邊，幸好辦公室裡的同仁有指北針。
特宏興案的被告們收押已滿八個月，好不容易現在終於可以敬拜麥加了！
啊！不過怕串證，所以他們六個不能同房也不能交談，那其他五人知不知道麥加在哪個方向呢⋯⋯
對他們來說想擁有宗教上的支持都這麼得來不易呀⋯⋯
