A defendant uses a pen as a cutter to slash magazine pages and the other folds and glues the cut pieces. I am intrigued by what they have accomplished after a whole day’s work.

“A handicraft?” I ask.
“Let me show you our piece!” The paper-pasting one hands it from his back.
“A gun!” I marvel. “It looks so real despite it’s made of paper!”
“Try it. You can even slide it.” He grins.
“How did you do this?”
“From the elastic strap of a mask.”

The paper gun is confiscated in a safety check few days later, including the extended barrel and stock that are also finished.

“They have too much time on their hands.” My colleague comments.

They are detained here while the verdicts are still unknown. One has to kill time. It doesn’t hurt when one has something to do.
