Drool and Panda 2014.01.14 Fountain Pen Drawing

Whether life in prison will be bad or good is largely decided by labor and room assignments.  Only roommates that get along well won’t fight.  The prisoners’ economic status also makes a difference. The ones with money can buy daily necessities, while those without money can work for them, each takes what he needs. In the case of the elderly or sick, it’s necessary to find a patient guy to take care of them. In prison there are power struggles and conflicts among the inmates, but there is also mutual assistance, even in the isolation ward.

Drool suffers from poor mental health, the drool on his clothes is never dry. He sleeps all day and runs around the room at night, no one can stand it.

A pen penetrated Panda’s eye socket when he was fighting with someone. It didn’t blind him but gave him an eye like a panda. So he’s always muttering and in a bad mood.

I didn’t expect they’d get on well, but they became like brothers: Panda found an undershirt to act as a bib for Drool, Drool has begun to respond to Panda’s muttering; Drool constantly gropes around the room after dark, but he can’t wake the snoring Panda.

They are perfect match like Laurel and Hardy!
