Nailing the Shackles(1)

It may look easy to nail and
remove shackles from an inmate. However, it is quite easy to leave prison
staff with injuries. It is believed that many prison guards smash their own
hands while doing it. Bruises and cuts are nothing to worry about. What
matters more is being mocked by the inmates. Furthermore, some prison guards
have lower back pain due to the long hours standing at work and holding the
iron block in the wrong position.
Guards have been known to sprain their wrists and slip discs.
